Does window tint come with a warranty?
YES! FLEX FILMS comes with a manufacturer's warranty against bubbling, peeling, fading and discoloration.
Do you offer mobile tinting services?
No, we currently perform all automotive tinting at our shop.
Does window tint go on the interior or exterior of the glass?
Window tint is installed into the interior side of the glass. This helps protects the film from weather condition, debris and potential damage. However, we first prep the film on the exterior to ensure the proper hand cut and preparation before installation.
Is window tint legal in Virginia?
Yes! However, Virginia has specific tint laws for vehicles.
- Front 2 windows must allow at least 50% of the light through.
- Rear side windows and back windshield must allow 35% of the light through.
- Front Windshield only the top 5 inches can be tinted or up to the AS-1 line.
What are the benefits of Ceramic tint?
Ceramic tint offers superior heat rejection for a cooler interior. It provides 99% UV protection to prevent skin damage and interior fading. It does not interfere with GPS, radio or cellphone signal. Advanced durability with no fading or discoloration over time.
After the window tint is installed, I notice small bubbles on the glass. Will they disappear over time?
New window tint films take 2-3 weeks to fully cure. During this time, you might notice haze, water pockets, or condensation; which is complete normal and will disappear as the film dries.
To ensure proper adhesion:
- Avoid rolling down the windows for at least 3 days in the summer and 5 days in the winter to prevent damage.
Can you remove old or damaged window tint?
Yes, we offer window tint removal services, for bubbling, purple or damage tint.
Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, we highly recommend making an appointment to secure your spot. When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserve specifically for you, ensuring that you won't have to wait longer than your service estimated time. However, we also accept walk-ins based on availability.
